Club Access & Tours

Do I need to book a club tour to visit?

  • While walk-in tours are allowed, we highly recommend booking in advance to ensure a team member is available.
  • Non-members who live locally are eligible for a complimentary 1-day pass following a tour with a Membership Director.

How can I book a tour?

Visit our Tour Booking page and choose your desired Club location.

Can we bring guests for the tour and club visit?

Yes! Friends and family are encouraged to join you.

What are your club hours?

  • Hours vary by location and can be found on each club's page at bayclubs.com.
  • Modified holiday hours are also listed online.

Are the clubs open year-round?

Yes, clubs are open 364 days per year, closing only on Christmas Day.
Classes & Amenities

Are classes included in the membership?

  • Most group exercise classes are complimentary with membership.
  • Specialty classes (e.g., Pilates Reformer and ELEVATE program) require additional fees.
  • Pricing is displayed in the Bay Club Connect app during booking.

Do you offer member discounts at the Renaissance Walnut Creek Hotel?

  • Yes, member discounts vary seasonally, up to 30% off per booking.
  • For the current member booking code, email info.bcwc@bayclubs.com.

Is equipment orientation available for new members?

  • Yes, new members receive one complimentary personal training assessment at any club included in their membership.
  • This assessment can include equipment tutorials.
Financial Matters

Who handles the financial responsibility on a Shared Membership?

The Primary member manages the account and all financial billing responsibilities.

What are the terms for membership reactivation?

  • Secondary members can reactivate with their primary members for a $25 reactivation fee.
  • Primary members are eligible for current Alumni promotions when reactivating.
  • Promotions vary monthly; consult the membership team for current offers.

Are there any initiation fees?

Yes, there are initiation fees. The amount varies based on your selected membership level.
Children & Family

What are the age restrictions for club use?

  • Members under 13 must be directly supervised by an adult unless enrolled in childcare.
  • Ages 13-17 may visit unsupervised but require staff approval for fitness floor, recovery equipment, and group exercise use.
  • Children under 13 with parents may use pools, basketball courts, pickleball and tennis courts, and non-fitness floor programs.

Is towel service available?

Yes, all locations provide towel service.
Guest Policies

Can I bring guests with me?

Yes! Your guests are always welcome at the Club. Active members receive guest passes based on their membership tier:
  • Fitness Clubs and Sports Resorts: Two visits per month, no annual limit
  • Golf Facilities: One visit per month, maximum four times per year
Guest fees apply when passes are not available.

When bringing a guest, please
  • Check in at the Front Desk
  • Pay the prevailing Guest Fee or use your membership Guest Passes
  • Have your guest complete the waiver at our Digital Guest Kiosk
Members are responsible for their guests' conduct, actions, and behavior while on Bay Club property. Guests may only use facilities or play sports when accompanied by a member.

The Club reserves the right to limit the number of guests a member may bring and to adjust guest fees at any time without prior written notice. Existing members on a Leave of Absence or suspended status are not permitted to use the Club as guests.

Is member charging available?

  • Yes, most locations offer charging privileges for members with active payment methods.
  • Primary account holders can control charging privileges for secondary members.

Is there a limit to how many classes I can attend daily?

No, members may attend unlimited classes per day.

What locker options are available?

  • Complimentary day-use lockers (no overnight storage permitted)
  • Monthly rental Executive Lockers available at select locations
  • Check with your club for Executive Locker availability
Childcare & Programs

Do children need membership for childcare?

Yes, children must be active members to receive 2 complimentary hours of daily childcare.

Is membership required for camp enrollment?

No, but member status is required for applicable program discounts.

Are lessons available to non-members?

No, only active members can book lessons.

Do infants need membership?

Yes, all ages require membership for club access without using guest passes

What are guest fees?

  • Adult: $30 per day
  • Minor: $15 per day
  • Fees apply when guest passes are not available

How can I find management team information?

Club Directories are available from membership teams and reception desks.

Where can I find event information?

  • Through the Connect app: Select "more" then "Events"
  • On bayclubs.com: Select Members > Events, then filter by club
  • In our monthly Club Life Newsletter on bayclubs.com/club-life

Can I view Club Life information for other locations?

Yes, visit bayclubs.com > Members > Overview to access all Club Life content and Member Communications
Membership Types & Terms

Can I customize my club selection?

No, custom club selections outside available membership packages are not permitted.

How are mid-month additions billed?

  • Prorated charges for the remainder of the current month
  • Next month's statement will show:
    • Prorated current month billing
    • One-time $25 activation fee

What membership terms are available?

  • Month-to-month and annual terms are available
  • Annual memberships:
    • Not available for all membership types
    • Generally, include one free month with a 12-month prepayment
    • Must be purchased through the club membership team
  • Month-to-month memberships are available online or through the membership team

Which memberships include golf access?

  • Club West Sapphire and Diamond: Complimentary golf at all locations
  • Club West Platinum:
    • Complimentary golf after 2 PM
    • 25% off before 2 PM
  • Pay-to-play options:
    • StoneTree Golf Club: Available with Executive Club North Bay and Club West Gold
    • Crow Canyon Country Club: Available with East Bay Campus, Executive Club North Bay/East Bay/South Bay, and Club West Gold
    • Boulder Ridge Golf Club and Fairbanks Ranch Country Club: Available with Club West Gold
Membership Management

What is the cancellation process for my account? Are there any added fees?

Primary and Secondary members: To resign your membership, one calendar month's notice is required. For example, if your request is submitted and confirmed in January, February serves as your notice month, and your membership will terminate effective March.

Are there booking restrictions for sports with a Shared Membership?

  • Shared Memberships are limited to one reservation per day, per club, per membership. For example, if a member books for a specific day, no other member can reserve a racquet sport for that day at that Club.
  • Additional reservations may be made on the day of play, based on availability.
  • Members must be present at the time of play, or a cancellation fee will be charged.

What is the parking situation at the club?

Parking is complimentary at all Bay Club locations, with either on-site parking lots or parking garages available.
