Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga that focuses on holding passive postures for extended periods. The practice targets the deep connective tissues such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia, rather than the muscles. It encourages relaxation and mindfulness, helping to improve flexibility, increase circulation, strengthen bones, nourish and lubricate the joints, and promote deep relaxation. Yin Yoga is often seen as a complement to more active forms of yoga, offering balance and stillness to the practice. Class will close with a Sound Bath during Savasana. The vibrations and frequencies of Crystal Singing Bowls will be used to promote relaxation, balance, energy, and enhance well-being. The sounds are believed to help reduce stress, clear blockages, and harmonize the body's energy. All levels welcome.
